Background History In October 2008, Laury moved to Montana where she set up a new sculpture studio in the rural community of Potomac, east of Missoula, south and slightly west of Seeley Lake. She soon joined Alpine Artisans Inc., a group of local artists and crafters. As one of their members, this Log Henge sculpture poject evolved as part of her larger Crown of the Continent Sculpture Trail vision, culminating in an unveiling 3 September 2010 by Chief Victor Charlo, leader of the Salish tribe. The final result is shown below, and further images can be seen in the Log Henge Spirits of the Forest Image gallery.
